What can I gift through the gifting feature?
You can gift a digital Blank Street gift card. Choose the design, choose the amount, and add a personal message.
Who can I gift a giftcard to?
You can gift anyone who has the Blank Street app. The recipient will need to download the app and create an account.
How do I send a giftcard?
Open the Wallet page and tap Send gifts. Choose a gift card design, enter the amount and your recipient’s details, then add the gift card to your cart, pay, and check out.
You can also send a gift card from the gifting options at checkout, or from Settings > Buy Gift Cards.
Please note: You can add up to five recipients in one order, and each recipient receives their own personalized gift card with their own message. You can send a gift straight away or schedule it to arrive on a specific date and time.
How will my recipient receive their giftcard?
Giftcards can be received by email or text, and in the app if the recipient already has an account.
How do I redeem a giftcard?
Gifts can only be redeemed with the Blank Street app. It’s free to download and create an account.
- Create an account or sign in to the Blank Street app.
- Redeem from the email or text message, or from the message waiting in the app.
The balance is added to your wallet and is ready to use on your next order. To see it, tap Wallet.
What if my recipient doesn’t use it all in one order?
The remaining balance will be applied to their next purchase by default.
Do gift cards expire?
Gift cards and Wallet balance do not expire.
Can I send a gift card overseas?
No. A gift card can only be redeemed in the country where it was purchased.
What if my recipient hasn't received their gift card?
Ask them to check their spam folder. The order confirmation email contains the gift link, which can be resent, reshared, or edited in the app. If the gift is still missing, contact Support at hey@blankstreet.com
What happens to unclaimed gifts?
We will send reminders to your recipient, and then to you, in the weeks after the gift is sent. If the gift is still unclaimed after around eight weeks, it is refunded to you automatically.
Are there purchase limits for gift cards?
Yes. There are daily and weekly limits on gift card purchases, and the app will let you know when you are close to reaching one.
